Everest Drilling

Our Technology

Equipment & Methodology

Everest Drilling operates heavy-duty truck-mounted drilling equipment capable of penetrating both soft and hard rock formations across South Africa's varied geology. Our equipment list is periodically updated — contact us for current specifications.

Drilling Equipment

Truck-Mounted Drilling Rig

Complete truck-mounted drilling unit — drilling rig and Chicago Pneumatic CPS1100-300 air compressor mounted together on a Tata Prima 2528.K platform, capable of operating in both soft and hard geological formations across all South African terrain types. Drill diameter: 6.5” standard continuous with 9”, 10”, and 12” overburden casing options for unconsolidated surface layers. Maximum drilling capability: 250 metres.

Survey Equipment

Geophysical Survey Equipment

Electromagnetic (EM) induction and electrical resistivity scanning equipment used to map subsurface geology before drilling. The survey identifies water-bearing fractures and aquifer zones, informing optimal drill-point selection. A geophysical survey is recommended before all drilling projects.

Pump Equipment

Pump & Installation Equipment

Submersible pump installation equipment for borehole depths to 250m. We supply and install submersible pumps and hand pumps, matched to site yield and usage requirements. Where applicable, warranty is provided by the product manufacturer according to the manufacturer's terms and conditions.

Support

Support Vehicles & Equipment

Support vehicles and auxiliary equipment for site access across all terrain types — including farm roads, rural sites, and construction environments.
